Our September ”Flamencos Y Sangria” Family Night with Sabor Flamenco was a real success. The residents and their families enjoyed lively and emotional interpretations of dance. Our Dining Director provided a beautiful Tapas bar and sangria with and without wine. The performers encouraged the audience to join in with hand clapping to the rhythms and shouts of ‘Ole’ when the dancing was particularly expressive. The dancers were accompanied by a Spanish Guitarist who played some beautiful Flamenco solos. Everyone from the residents and their families to the staff really became engaged in the flavors of Flamenco. Shared experiences of arts from other cultures bring residents and their friends and families closer. The residents get to showcase some of the entertainment they enjoy year-round.
